Upcoming Latest Technology: Bluetooth 4.0

Bluetooth Latest Technology Version 4 Upcoming Latest Technology: Bluetooth 4.0 Q410
Today, a group of individuals has announced the upcoming arrival of the latest Bluetooth technology, the Bluetooth 4.0. This Interest Group has said that the new version, Bluetooth 4.0, will be coming in the 4th quarter of this year with the latest devices such as headsets, mobile phones and computers and other kinds of technology. It was also stated that with this latest technology, it will allows devices with smaller batteries to use the Bluetooth 4.0. Where in the previous versions of Bluetooth requires a device to have at lease a triple A-batteries or larger capacity battery to function. The Bluetooth 4.0 is also dubbed to consume lesser power than the old version, and has a higher transfer rate of data, in which it will carry the high-speed Wi-Fi feature introduced with Bluetooth 3.0. That allows devices to jump onto Wi-Fi 802.11 networks, where it can transfer data at up to 25Mbits per second. By the way the version 3.0 was launched last year although it does not become popular enough due to the power requirements needed. That’s why version 4.0 was created to solve this problem.

Top 4 Upcoming Feature Technologies

1. Space Elevator

The scientists at Japanese have started development on its innovative technological masterpiece, the Space Elevator, which would take you to above 22,000 miles above the earth. The elevator would be capable of accommodating 30 passengers with a speed of about 125mph. The journey via Space Elevator would be 8 days long and would finally take you to its space station into the Geosynchronous Orbit.

2. Driverless Cars

The engineers at Google recently patented the driverless cars technology and now have successfully tested the vehicles in Nevada. The Google driverless cars technology can be incorporated into any car. Google hopes that the driverless upcoming future technology for cars would definitely make your life much easier while taking the chances of accidents to minimum extent.

 3. Robotic Assistants

The field of Robotics has been grown too much from the past few years. From cleaning a room to helping a doctor in surgery, the robots have become very smart. Now a new study predicts that by next decade, this future technology would become a standard that every home would have one robot to handle simple household jobs (super duper Will Smith’s iRobot movie demonstrates the same idea). Foxconn, the China’s largest electronics Industry, also wishes to change its workers with 1 million robots in the next few years.

4. Mind Reading Computers

By next decade, IBM expects to make a Mind Reading Computer i.e. a computer that fully according to your thoughts. The user just needs to wear a specialized headset which would interpret the signals from your mind and then send it to the paired computer for next responding steps. Mind-Reading upcoming future technology would be ready within the upcoming three years, as stated by IBM.

Upcoming Technology: High Storage Capacity Holographic Discs

What would you say if I told you that you could store 200 movies all on one disc? Think I’m crazy? I was surprised when I heard the news. Researchers from General Electric figured out mass data storage on one disc using holographic laser reading and writing. These standard-sized 5-inch discs could initially store up to 300 gigabytes of data–that’s more than most computers’ hard drives! Future versions are expected to hold as much as one terabyte, which could store 40 high-definition movies or 200 standard-definition movies. That could save some major shelf space!

So how does all of this work? With CDs and DVDs, information is stored as a pattern on the discs’ surfaces. With holographic laser writing, the data is “written” using patterns of light interference within the body of light-sensitive material to create three-dimensional holograms. This new technology allows for extremely high storage capacity. Even today’s leading high-capacity format, Blu-Ray, can currently only store up to 50 gigabytes on one disc. Read more about how holographic storageworks.

InPhase is one of the main companies offering the high-end system. The first discs, expected to hold 300 gigabytes, should be available in late 2009. They are planning to market the $18,000 machine and 300 gigabyte discs at $180 apiece. They are also planning a 1.6 terabyte version to hit the market in 2012. These discs do have a high cost, but InPhase expects a large demand, especially in video production, medical-imaging storage, and government.
But be very careful with these extremely valuable discs. You wouldn’t want to accidentally lose or damage one of these discs with nearly 300 gigabytes of data stored on it, so be sure to invest in premium quality DVD cases, or even its own customized package.
